Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays 

8:30 – 11:30 AM 

 

 Morning Courses: All students are enrolled for these two STEM courses:

  1. STEM Skills
  2. STEM in Society

 
Wednesdays

UT Lab Tours: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

ORNL Tours: 1:00 – 5:00 PM 

 ORNL Rotation Schedule: 

Wednesday, June 4:

  1. Industrial and Systems Engineering
  2. Chemistry

Wednesday, June 11:

  1. Biology
  2. Physics

Wednesday, June 18:

  1. Materials Sciences and Engineering
  2. Mathematics

Note: Scheduled ORNL tours will take place of afternoon courses. Classes resume if they are not scheduled for an afternoon ORNL tour. 
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM Break/Lunch
Monday-Friday 

1:30 – 4:30 PM

 Afternoon Courses: Each student will be assigned  to one of these afternoon courses:

  1. Biology
  2. Chemistry
  3. Industrial & Systems Engineering
  4. Materials Science & Engineering
  5. Mathematics
  6. Physics
Saturdays

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 Excursions: Students, Resident staff and Pre-College staff split into three groups and attend three separate excursion locations in the Knoxville and Pigeon Forge area! 
Sundays On Sundays, our students are encouraged to participate in Resident staff-led programs,  rest, explore the campus, libraries, and UT Gardens with other GSSE participants, or catch up on school work.
